on saturday, i went for RV open house at around 11am. i saw hui li, foong hui, kelly and william there. RV is a nice school. after that i went to escape to meet some friends. we planned a chalet stay but in the end only one family stayed.
at first when we were walking to escape theme park, it started drizzling. we decided not to go in as we would not be able to take the rides if it rained. we decided to take a take a look at some shops nearby before heading back to the chalet. we walked so far and for so long. when we went back to the chalet the mothers' chased us out saying that we can still go for the rides since its only drizzling.. so out we went AGAIN.
i have not been to escape for donkey years and now i realise its kind of getting smaller. the viking ship has i think shrunk. its so small. the most enjoyable ride was the wet and wild. although we were drenched, the 15m drop was awesome. escape was oddly deserted. there weren't many people. we did not have to que for anything. we drove the go-carts. when we were reaching the peak of the slope, i was still behind my sister and suddenly her car just stopped. i was a little surprised and just over took her. i looked back and she gave me a pathetic look-her car was not working properly and she was stuck! she jammed the accelerator 3-4 times and luckily it started up again. when she was reaching the point where everyone was parked, waiting for her, her foot slipped off the braking peddal and her cart crashed into sheryl's and all of us were hit. i was i think the first person in line. she was the 5th. sheryl's spectacles dropped off due to the impact and the lens chipped off and cut her hand. OUCH! her spectacles cost about $600 and furthermore it was a new pair. that was the only bad part of the day but overall, the day was rather enjoyable.
