sorry i haven't posted for very long, well at least to me its long, i haven't been in the mood... someone cheer me up please!!!! okay.. where shall i begin.. oh ya! kelly's birthday party:]


on friday the 15th of june, many of my friends gathered opposite FHPS at around 11am. we were supposed to meet kelly and she would lead the way to her house. we were celebrating her birthday that day. when i woke up at about 10am, it was pouring. if it continued to rain until 11.30am, i think i would not be able to go. fortunately, when i was about to leave house, it stopped raining. PHEW!! i lugged the huge, gigantic mushroom( i will post the pic later ) to meet them.. even worse is that i bought it for kelly on khoon hwee's behalf!! i can't imagine i helped him buy.. i wonder what got over me that day i said yes... at 11.20am, kelly called my house phone, asking me to leave home now to meet her cause she was going bonkers with two stupid guys. they were christopher and shun jun. i could hear they're voices in the background. she said they were cursing everyone to die on her actual birthday which was that day itself. boys.... childish and evil!! i met reine and pretended that kh mushroom was hers and her present for kelly was mine. kelly was overwhelmed with happiness when she saw the mushroom.

soon after reine and i arrived, foong hui, melissa, jerlene and rebecca arrived one by one. kh was the last to come.

we took bus 105 to toh guan, kelly's house. we were supposed to cross a traffic light before we could reach her block. kelly's said " aiya.. no cars.. just cross la!" and she ran across the road when it was still red man.. shun jun was a little action and just ran across too. i was thinking : OH MY GOODNESS KELLY!! YOU'RE A PREFECT AND YOU JUST J-WALKED ACROSS THE ROAD!!

when we reached her house, the first thing that caught my attention was her huge, gigantic, humongous flat screen television. i went " i am so jealous!" i also can't believe that she has an X-box too when she has two other sisters, one is a toddler and one is in secondary 1 this year. her toddler sister is super cute!! kelly says she hits her if... i forgot, anyway, its not important.. her sis hits her and i saw it with my very own eyes. kelly's sister even pulled her hair.

we had lots of fun at her party and there was a lot of food which we could not finish. it was so delicious but still, we couldn't finish it. we played games like monkey, freeze and melt and captain's ball. the captain's ball was super fun as there was no quarrels:] a very funny thing happened. it was when we were playing captain's ball, khoon hwee, while chasing the ball, slipped and fell in a puddle of water. everyone laughed. his pants was white at first but after the fall, they were black.

i went home with reine, jerlene and rebecca. christopher, shun jun and khoon hwee were supposed to take a bus back with us too but they decided to take a cab instead.. rich people... anyway, when our bus reached a traffic, it stopped and reine, jerlene, rebecca and i saw the boys in a cab beside our bus. cool much!! i called kh's handphone but he took too long to pick up the phone..
well, that was how my happy day ended:]

foong hui and i planned to go out to shop for a birthday present for the birthday girl, kelly cheng hoi lai. well, we were supposed to leave house and head for the JE interchange at around 10am. well, i woke up at exactly 10am and rushed to get changed and whatever you have to do in the morning. anyway, we ended up leaving house at about 10.27am. i met her at popular and decided to walk to IMM which was not far away at all. we headed straight for mini toons and stayed there for what seemed like eternity but still couldn't decide on what to get. we were also supposed to help khoon hwee a present as well. we went to precious moments to take a peek although we knew that the things there were too expensive. back to mini toons we went. we decided on 2 big , gigantic mushrooms! foong hui, wanqi and i shared the cost of 1 and the other was for khoon hwee. i helped him save about 10 bucks. foong hui and i lugged one each and walked around looking for KFC cause fh didn't want to eat at Mac... fussy little princess lor!! anyway, we decided to go back to JEC for lunch cause i think the KFC has closed down or something.
we went to the library first as the fast food outlets were too crowded during peek hours. we asked wanqi to come meet us as she just finished remedial lesson in school. she came in her school T-shirt and skirt. she didn't want to read a book and was starving. we couldn't let her go hungry so we went to Mac to have our lunch since we could only find seats there. i ate at Mac while they went to KFC to buy lunch. hmmph.. they saw rebecca and jerlene going home after a visit to the library. i wonder why we didn't see them in the library.. we chatted and ate our lunch at the same time.
it was still early but we all headed home as wanqi had tuition soon. she need to go home and have a bath so off we went!! i had to lug a huge mushroon home... how heavy..

i just came back from tuition, finished dinner and its about 8.56pm. i am overjoyed and totally surprised that i got full marks for my chinese spelling that i did not learn at all. normally when i learn my spelling, i learn, forget and scrape throught. f.y.i, scraping through means i got a boarder line pass. anyway, i got full marks!! i couldn't believe my eyes and ears! i got a 22/40 for my compo. its considered very good in my chinese tuition class cause my teacher usually fails us.. i usually get a 19 or 20 on a normal day. i guess today isn't very normal as it seems to be. my mood now is : shiok! ya know why? its because my sister just left in the morning to go to coasta sands for a 3 day 2 night chalet. cool! i will have the whole room and 2 computers to myself! how awesome is that??!! YAY!

today was really really fun as miss yeong allowed as to work in groups to write a composition. well, its title was " you were relaxing on the beach with your parents and suddenly you saw people running in all directions.." in my group were daniel, foong hui, shi min and i. daniel was very creative and shi min and foong hui were contributors and good team mates. daniel wanted to eat the fish food, flakes for guppies, that we had beside our fish tank. he said it smelled very nice. shi min, foong hui and i think that it stinks. oh well, we can never fully understand a boy anyway. we told daniel that jun jie ate it before and he said it tasted like cutter fish. daniel did not really concentrate on our composition and kept asking us about the fish food. he even put one pathetic flake on our fullscap. i brushed it onto the floor when he was not looking and said the wind blew it away.
our composition was about a volcano causing a tornado and after which the volcano erupted. the volcano was in the sea. it was a megma dome. luckily i just read about megma domes in my story book so i knew we could pen it down. i think my group wrote the most. thats good!!
we made a trip to the computer lab to do some science activities. we were supposed to work in our small groups. my small group consisted of chuning, hui peng, shun jun and i. we had to think, in our opinion, the greatest invension, that had been created. after which we created a powerpoint slide to present some facts of the creator, how did people in the olden days survive without it, about the creation and why you think it is the greatest invension, how and why did the inventor invent the object. my group decided on spectacles. oh it was a good try:]

today started out with a little rushing here and there. reine, jerlene and i met at west mere's main entrance as usual and i was a late by i have no idea how long. anyway, luckily i caught up with them as they were about to walk to school on their own without me. the three of us a.k.a the three little pigs did not have anything to bring to school to share with everybody during recess so we made our way to Econ minimart and bought chips. YUM!! we know its very unhealthy but we just love it:] after deciding on pringles, we made our way to school. when we were about to cross the trafic light, we saw khoon hwee walking behind us but decided not to give a damn about him. we didn't feel like bothering about him and it was a good thing as we usually ended up in a quarrel. everyone was already in the canteen except kelly. she reached about 5 mins after reine, jerlene and i. we chatted for a while 'till miss yeong came.

we played survivor spelling and i sat down when we had to spell some word i had never seen nor heard before. in my group, only hui peng was left standing. three cheers for hui peng! haha. the survivors got some chocolate each. miss yeong let us listen to a story titled George's marvellous medicine. it was very funny. anyway, the bell rang soon after that and we all went home!! YAY! although i like spending lots of time with my friends, there's still a time where everyone has to go home. how sad..

i had no time to blog about what happened yesterday so i am blogging today. sorry for the delay!
yesterday, i had supp lesson in school. i was supposed to meet reine, jerlene and rebecca but in the end i was a little later than usual. as reine always leaves house when she sees me coming, she arrived after me. jerlene came a minuite or so later. we decided to wait for rebecca for 5 mins. if she didn't come in 5 mins, we would just leave. as expected, she didn't show up so we left in order not to be late for class. when we reached the school canteen, we saw rebecca chatting with foong hui and some other girls. reine, jerlene and i were fuming. rebecca said that she waited for a while but no one showed up so she just left. she made us wait so long for her but she was in school all the while. couldn't she have sent me a message telling me she had left??!! she said when she reached school she asked foong hui whether i brought my handphone and foong hui just shrugged. foong hui should have known i had brought my phone as it is holiday class anyway!! i was rather pissed off but after a while i was fine.
in class, miss yeong let us listen to a story. it was really nice as we did not have to read, just listen as she has a disc where the story teller read the whole book. this is called pure lazyness! hehex
while we were doing our math revision, our class female guppy started to give birth. cool! we watched almost the whole process. the babies where so small, they could just slip through the hole of our net free and easy. although they could just slip through, miss yeong managed to fish some of them out. about 3 died as they were too weak but many survived. we were very glad!
we have 3 female guppies and 1 male guppy in all. all 3 female guppies have given birth in like about 3 months. is that cool or what?! i feel that the male guppy is a real flirt. you should know why:] when we were doing our math, when miss yeong wasn't looking, jun jie went out to the corridoor and did a handstand. haha. he fell after a while and he was groaning in pain when he came into the class again. fortunately, miss yeong didn't see anything.

today we FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!! i was afraid i couldn't wake up this morning as i slept at about 2.45am last night. well, i really couldn't even with the alarm clock beside my head, ringing and ringing. my sis had to get me to wake up. hehex. I'm a heavy sleeper. i had to rush to meet reine at west mere's main entrance. i was late by about 2 mins i guess. RECORD TIMING for a always late person like me. haha. we walked to school together and were feeling very excited to see all our friends, classmates plus schoolmates again. when we entered the school through the small gate, we walked pass the toilet and saw hui li coming out. she said that foong hui was inside and asked us to wait for her. melissa was in there too. less than 1 min later, we were sitting at the P1 assembly area chatting away. it was a great pleasure to see everyone. i mean it. practically everyone in our small little "gang" was present except rebecca, jerlene and kelly. miss yeong had told us to meet her in the canteen and from there she would bring us up to our cosy classroom. when reine, foong hui, melissa and i started walking towards the canteen with our bags, almost everyone from 6a'07 followed. that goes to show how united we are. it makes no sense but i still like it:] the four of us settled down at a table and started yakking away again. it seems like we have not met for a decade. rebecca and jerlene arrived not long later followed by kelly. we talked about how boring life at home was and what we might be doing today. things like [revealer reveal] and picking who would we encourage for the month of june. I'll skip the part where miss yeong comes into the picture and we head for our classroom.
in class, miss yeong collected homework from us and after that, we went to the kids zone on the fourth floor where we were split into 10 groups. the top students who came in top 10 for mathematics for SA1 were the so called "leaders" of the little groups. they were supposed to teach the ones who are weaker in mathematics how to do the questions they did not know how to do. halley was my group's group leader. the members are melissa, ren fei and i. there was one question where only halley knew how to do the question. we thought for a very long time and still couldn't get it. well, we asked halley and he tried to explain but unfortunately we didn't understand a word he was saying. no offence. i mean, he is so pro!when i say pro, i mean PROFESSIONAL.
after our break at 10am, we headed back to our classroom where miss yeong asked us to push in our chairs and stand behind them. well, you should be thinking" waa.. sure scolding der. die liao.." it really was not like this. instead of a scolding or lecture we expected, miss yeong asked us to sit on the table, go under the table, go over the table, go under the chair, so on and so forth. her point was, the words under, over, on were when added to some other word, will become a phrase of perception. nice and interesting way of teaching we can't deny. we had a great laugh:]
haziq got 0/10 for the little practice miss yeong gave us. HAHA. the highest was i think a 9 or an 8. haziq got a big fat zero! he kind of deserves it as he always tries to act cool but in actual fact is super not cool.
towards the end of our English supp lesson, we revealed who we were encouraging for the month of may. mine was shun jun the burping freak.<-- want me to stop calling him that? no problemo! just tell him to stop burping. for the month of June, i will be encouraging a person who is not close to me. that person is sometimes irritating and sometimes nice. try guessing:] i think the clues i just gave are efficient and you should be able to make a few good guesses. i don't exactly like this person( as a friend )... that's about all for today cause i have to finish up my tuition homework and do my school homework as well. I'll be rather busy today.. well, at least it'll keep me occupied:]

my posts are going to get shorter and shorter as i have practically nothing to do during the holidays except change whatever i can change on my blog, go for tuition and do homework. i think i'd rather go to school. its so anti-social at home i can't stand it. i only socialize with my lap top.. I MISS MY FRIENDS!!!!
