today we FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!! i was afraid i couldn't wake up this morning as i slept at about 2.45am last night. well, i really couldn't even with the alarm clock beside my head, ringing and ringing. my sis had to get me to wake up. hehex. I'm a heavy sleeper. i had to rush to meet reine at west mere's main entrance. i was late by about 2 mins i guess. RECORD TIMING for a always late person like me. haha. we walked to school together and were feeling very excited to see all our friends, classmates plus schoolmates again. when we entered the school through the small gate, we walked pass the toilet and saw hui li coming out. she said that foong hui was inside and asked us to wait for her. melissa was in there too. less than 1 min later, we were sitting at the P1 assembly area chatting away. it was a great pleasure to see everyone. i mean it. practically everyone in our small little "gang" was present except rebecca, jerlene and kelly. miss yeong had told us to meet her in the canteen and from there she would bring us up to our cosy classroom. when reine, foong hui, melissa and i started walking towards the canteen with our bags, almost everyone from 6a'07 followed. that goes to show how united we are. it makes no sense but i still like it:] the four of us settled down at a table and started yakking away again. it seems like we have not met for a decade. rebecca and jerlene arrived not long later followed by kelly. we talked about how boring life at home was and what we might be doing today. things like [revealer reveal] and picking who would we encourage for the month of june. I'll skip the part where miss yeong comes into the picture and we head for our classroom.
in class, miss yeong collected homework from us and after that, we went to the kids zone on the fourth floor where we were split into 10 groups. the top students who came in top 10 for mathematics for SA1 were the so called "leaders" of the little groups. they were supposed to teach the ones who are weaker in mathematics how to do the questions they did not know how to do. halley was my group's group leader. the members are melissa, ren fei and i. there was one question where only halley knew how to do the question. we thought for a very long time and still couldn't get it. well, we asked halley and he tried to explain but unfortunately we didn't understand a word he was saying. no offence. i mean, he is so pro!when i say pro, i mean PROFESSIONAL.
after our break at 10am, we headed back to our classroom where miss yeong asked us to push in our chairs and stand behind them. well, you should be thinking" waa.. sure scolding der. die liao.." it really was not like this. instead of a scolding or lecture we expected, miss yeong asked us to sit on the table, go under the table, go over the table, go under the chair, so on and so forth. her point was, the words under, over, on were when added to some other word, will become a phrase of perception. nice and interesting way of teaching we can't deny. we had a great laugh:]
haziq got 0/10 for the little practice miss yeong gave us. HAHA. the highest was i think a 9 or an 8. haziq got a big fat zero! he kind of deserves it as he always tries to act cool but in actual fact is super not cool.
towards the end of our English supp lesson, we revealed who we were encouraging for the month of may. mine was shun jun the burping freak.<-- want me to stop calling him that? no problemo! just tell him to stop burping. for the month of June, i will be encouraging a person who is not close to me. that person is sometimes irritating and sometimes nice. try guessing:] i think the clues i just gave are efficient and you should be able to make a few good guesses. i don't exactly like this person( as a friend )... that's about all for today cause i have to finish up my tuition homework and do my school homework as well. I'll be rather busy today.. well, at least it'll keep me occupied:]
