tomorrow is the first of September which is also teachers' day. HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY TO ALL TEACHERS!! some prefects spent a lot of time in sticking the post it pads on pieces of A3 size papers and laminating them to give to the teachers. well, it includes foong hui who is not a prefect but spent time helping us. thank you!! we worked on Tuesday from 1pm-3.30pm. well, it was supposed to be until 3pm only but we stayed on longer as there was much more to do. some of us worked OT for all the days as there was too much to do. there are like 70++ teachers in the school and all the students are supposed to write. its compulsory. each student has to write to his or her form teacher, MT teacher and another teacher which he or her prefers. this way, one teacher has to have more than 40. that's a lot.. we sorted, stuck and laminated.. Mr martin said we will be rewarded according but i doubt so anyway. its sense of achievement that's important to me. it took hours and hours and some teacher's notes and messages got mixed up because they all have similar sir names.. I'm really sorry about that. if any teachers have complaints, go look for Mr Ho =D he said he'll bear all responsibility as he's in charge of us. though it was tiring doing all the work, i must say it was very fun and i would like to help again. esp when Mr Ho is in charge =D
this morning, i had to wake up at 4am to send my sister off to the air port as she is going to Japan on an exchange programme. see what a good sister i am? fancy waking up at 4 to go to a freezing cold air port to send a sister off to a very fun place when she usually treats you very badly.. i rushed back to school and reached at 8.05am. whew! i was yawning in class when we were doing math, english and stuff.. god, i was so tired.. actually, i didn't want to come in the first place but i decided to come as it was teachers' day. though i had no presents, i took time from my precious sleep and wrote letters. well, not to all teachers.. i feel so guilty about having nothing to give to my hard working, caring and kind teachers.. sorry!! during the celebration in the hall, rebecca, christopher, hui li and i helped to give out the laminated A3 size papers decorated with touching and meaningful letters and messages. i went to the PA room to give Mr tan his. he remembers my sister!! awesome!! haha.
it was rather enjoyable to help and give. no offence, but the performance was horrid and terrible.. it was super, duper boring.. i rather go back to class and do work than waste my time sitting there watching some boring thing..
