i woke up at around 10 plus this morning. i was surprised that i could wake up that early because i couldn't sleep the night before.. i think i slept at about, lets say, 3am? don't really know. anyway, i was told by my parents that we were going bowling with my dad's friend and his family. my sis was supposed to meet us at chevron as she was supposed to go buy something with her friend claudia. my parents and i went for lunch while my sis stayed a while more at home before leaving after us.


when we arrived at the chevron, my dad's friend and his family had not arrived. hence, we waited at the bowling alley for them. i bored and started playing with my mom's new phone. well, not exactly hers.. its my dad's company's phone and since he had just bought one he loves, he decided to give it to my mom. my dad told us that his friend was going to be late. i hated long waits and continued to play with the phone anyway.


suddenly, i heard " HI!!!!" being repeated many times. to my surprise, ( let me recall and laugh.hahaha. ok.. ) i saw my sister and a whole lot of people waving happily. i thought, " woah, why did daphne, my dad's friend's daughter, bring so many friends?? i dun wanna bowl liao..." i couldn't see well though the frosted glass that separated the people and me so i continued to stare in horror. the first to appear other than my sis wasn't daphne, it was wanqi!!! i recognised her through her usual black polo T and striking red sling bag. OMG!!!! my mouth dropped open and i lost the game... ok back to the main point.


my friends inclusive of wanqi, rebecca, kelly, melissa, jerlene, jun jie and shun jun were all here!!! my mind was blank as they noisily gave me gifts including a huge tigger!!! ahahahahahaha!!! the story goes like this...


my sis contacted all my friends and planned this surprise early birthday celebration and my parents lied to me that we were going bowling with my dad's friend. in the end, MY friends turned up instead of my DAD's friend. there, short and sweet. haha XD


we bowled 2 games and after which we went to west coast to play. a little far but i must say, it was worth the trip. we took a bus there while my sis went for tuition( from 4-6pm). after arriving and playing for less than 10mins, it started raining and everyone started dashing for mac. kelly and fh are super scared of the rain... the rest of us walked and ran a little. we found a table for all 11 of us to sit and ate out early dinner at about 5pm.. early huh? after dad my dad bought a cake and my friends sang " happy birthday " in english and n chinese so loud it was EMBARRASSING!!! OMG...



it stopped raining after we finished eating the cake so we ran out to play with the " flying fox " some may call. jun jie and shun jun stood in the middle and pulled us from one side to the other. after a few times, they were too tired to continue and just sat on the sand in the middle to rest. poor bulldog because he ran the most. we took turns and it was so crazy. =D



the fun time together ended at about 7 when wanqi had to go home. my sis, jun jie, shun jun and i took a bus back to jurong east while my parents sent rebecca, melissa, jerlene and kelly right to their doorstep. at one of the bus stops, we spotted our( my sis and i ) friends and started waving like crazy. hahaha!! i think they were waiting for a bus after church.



we alighted from the bus at the bus stop opposite the library and walked to popular to buy some stationary and also for jun jie to wait for his mother there. while queuing at the cashier, there was a bangla queuing infront of shun jun and he said the bangla farted and it was super stinky!!! the worst thing was, there was no choice as the que was really long and if he got out of the que just because of that, he had to start queuing again! how sad.



not long later, jun jie and shun jun went back and my parents arrived. we went to IMM to have our dinner a about 8plus..

on Christmas night, we had steamboat and we all over ate. while trying to finish up the food, we played " open numbers ". the " chosen one " would then have to eat a fishball and with a condition, the fishball had to be given to you by ralph. no offence, he was bad at using chopsticks so we chose him. if he couldn't pick it up and put it into your bowl in the time limit, which was reasonable, he had to eat it, plus try to pick another up again until he succeeds. we ate like crazy. the game started off with only 4 people, than another joined, and soon all the kids were playing. thus, we had dinner from 7pm to 10pm when we stopped to watch the Korean show " witch yoo hee".
