I need extra motivation, encouragement, hugs, well wishes, and smiles for me to give my best.
I don't know why, my defence is starting to slack.
I'm trying, but i know its not hard enough.
I don't know how much more i need to push myself to max.
I need to try. For the team, for our zonals top 4.
I don't want to almost cost the team their game again.
I don't think its fair to them because they played really hard.
I can't afford to screw the game up again. No more.
I'm sure its not just determination. It's fitness.
I lack fitness. 2 quarters as GD and i'm down.
I myself create problems for myself. My knee, everything.
I can't jump high enough.
I can't reach high enough.
I'm not strong enough on the ball.
I can't get used to having a wide base without MP telling me to do so.

I can't.
I just can't.

ITS 12.50AM NOW.

my cny resolutions for 2009! :

I want to be a better defender on court.
I want to make more friends, change enemies to friends. I'm quite desperate for this alrighty
I'm in a serious need to grow taller. To at least 1.68m of height. This means more sleep for me! haha
At least top 4 for zonals. GO CDIV'09!
To live a less complicated life than i am living now
GPA of at least 3.3 (this is a target, a goal, an aim, a resolution. It isn't neccessary to achieve, is it? guess not.)
I aim, to try bond with 2H'09. though not very possible cause they hate me, but i still wanna feel that sense of belonging to the class i spent a year with, and am gonna spend another year with.
Try to keep awake during lessons. (LangArts might just be the exception since you don't get cause or scolded when you sleep ^^)
Go to bed earlier these days. I'm lacking sleep, big time.
Laugh more. Laughing with the netballers and sharon is the only time i get some fun and joy these days. When i face 2H, i have no idea what to say. 2H is just a class that, to me, happened to get grouped together a year ago. We just happened to have to share the same classroom. And finally, we just happened to be labelled "1H'08/2H'09". I have more friends in other class than i have in the class i belong in. weird? but true enough.
Improve family relationship. i quarrel with my sis when i step into the house every day. And try to make my mum stop nagging so much.
Not look that skinny
Not screw up during matching. can't afford that anymore.

I wanna sum up all the better times in the past 1 week

Mrs Kong rocks(: Sharon and i slept during Lang Arts lesson and she didn't say anything about it. She just allowed us to sleep. Oh how wonderful, if only all teachers are like that
Netball tournament! 1 down, more to go. (more skipping of lessons. hahaha)
tsy and I don't have to memorise some chinese song lyrics thing. means no need to copy the lyrics 20 times because i bet i would have just left the paper blank. (all thanks to the nanyang match)
There's no training tmr! (its sat! means sleeping in for gail(: )
I'm gonna play with the webcam with MY cute christabel again. haha. yes she's mine!
It's CNY in 3 days time. it means more time spent with my beloved cousins, having fun with clothes, shoes, wdv, and more redpackets (oh yes, include gambling as well)^^
CNY goodies :D
I'm in the process of playing karaoke party with christabel! x)

I realised i have a really really cool junior who loves the team as much as i love her (:
MICHELLE! WELCOME TO RVNB CDIV'09!
make sure you stay as white as you are now because then we can tell the next batch of juniors that we don't get very dark if we join netball. *points to michelle* haha
you have quite a englishy look(in short, ang moh look. get used to rvnb cdiv'09 lingo. haha) which i so envy!
stop falling down so much too. try your best to steady yourself, smth that i obviously fail to do.
being in netball causes your risk of getting skin cancer to increase, increases your bloodloss and tear-loss.
BUT i hope you don't mind (:
all the best for the tough trainings ahead, fun and memorable moments and that bond between netballers you can never find in other CCAs.

so the netballers and my dearest MIA LAN celebrated my birhday for me (:
firstly, they me a birthday song super loudly during recess. super paiseh! but thanks, i loved it
then after school, we stayed back to cut ~~cake~~ jelly! nicole lim made jelly for me. TY ILYVVM! a girl that doesn't know how to cook instant noodles made me jelly on my birthday. touching? hell yea! :D
then we took photos like nobodys business like we usually do(: i miss the days! cam whores all the way~ lol
huey chyi, tricia and sarah sang me a birthday song too. tyvm.
netballers are loved(:

oh yes, and sarah treated me to milo. thankyouuuuuu. haha
went home, cut cake, my sis printed my mr suria on a tee for me!! hahahaha super cute~

my sis also went to JP to decorate the cake for me. lol
my aunt gave me a red packet and i was like " aiyo.. 你真的老了。。”

We've trained so very hard.
One down, another in the progress?
Has one more day to redeem herself?
What about adding what she has done for 1 year up and putting it together to prove that she's worthy
She is definately worthy.
Redeem yourself? What rubbish.
Hasn't the past 1 year(2008) shown everything?
Shown that she has thEE attitude and the perseverence to stay in the team?
Our team has gone through thick and thin together.
We overcomed our internal conflict, we've suffered and taken all the scoldings from MP for a year, we've persevered through PTs every friday and we've formed that strong bond you don't find in other CCA teams.
Now we need to suffer another huge blow
Isn't resisting the urge to skip trainings, the urge to defy orders, the urge to slack during PT, the urge to just do everything in the exact opposite way we're doing now enough to show that we love netball and our team?
To beat nanhua high during the seasons is our team goal.
How to complete that goal if we're not that team anymore?
It's hard to feel the huge sense of achievement if you didn't play in the game, didn't get to contribute in the game.
So how is it possible to feel anything when the team achieves something and you didn't play and even more, you're not part of the team?
We've come this far, being better than i've ever dreamed of.
Is it neccessary to tell us this now?
Where's the teamspirit now? So what if whoever is better than somebody.
I DON'T CARE.
It hurt to see her(L) walk away before our match, for ELDDS, for another CCA
and not walk with us, to the court, for our match.
Its not easy to turn your back on something you used to work hard for and all of a sudden, you can't be a part of.
And i'm hoping for the impossible
hoping that we could go back to where we used to be, together.

rvnb will always be here for you(:

How did it all turn out like it?
I have no clue.
Is it a change in rules? Well, maybe.
But really, you deserve a chance. Another chance
It isn't fair to allow the new year 1 girl to take your place
You've worked so very hard. We all worked all too hard for 2009 seasons
It isn't fair to tell you now, at this point of time where seasons are just 1-2 weeks away, that you're not allowed to play.
Worse, you are to join ELDDS.
If anyone ever tells me about this issue being "the best for the team", i'll say in his/her face, " what rubbish "
We took 1 year to bond. Bond 'till this very stage where we're inseperable, and now this.
This big blow, to rvnb's c'div'09. What more can't we take?
In just 1 year, we've been through almost everything(that i can think of).
Tears, sweat and BLOOD.
(yes, excessive blood loss for my pathetic case)
What else can't we take?
It won't be unexpected after that day,
that day that i started thinking our school sets unreasonable rules..
So what if you can't meet an expectation sports ppl do meet?
It doesn't mean you lack skills.
You need skills in netball. You need the vision and to read off other players
You don't lack that.
So i don't think it matters that you meet the expectation.
All that matters is that you can contribute to the team(:
ILY hell lots. And i think its important that you know that
RVNB WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU!

Lynn, although your first cca is ELDDS and the second is NETBALL, it doesn't make a huge difference, just that you can come for trainings and still feel the sense of belonging we want you to ALWAYS feel(:
